Kick off the official start of summer and treat dad, grandpa, your brother, or best buddy (Father’s Day is June 19th) to a day of fun at Catskill Animal Sanctuary’s 10th Annual Shindig on Saturday, June 18th! This year’s festivities promise to be bigger and better than ever!
Hundreds of visitors from the tri-state region flock to our annual summer party to enjoy live music, guided tours, hay rides, educational activities, a silent auction, and delicious veggie food.
We are thrilled to have Zoe Weil, President of the Institute of Humane Education and author of Most Good, Least Harm and Above All, Be Kind, and a preeminent voice on creating a more peaceful, healthy and humane world, as our special guest. The Compassion Trail is another new feature this year: guests will roam the entire farm, moving from one “compassion activity” to the next, receiving prizes at each station.
