Put down the take out menu and expand your culinary repertoire by learning how to make your own fresh and easy-to-prepare Asian dishes that are healthy and humane. In this class, you’ll become familiar with new ingredients and essential techniques like stir-frying, steaming, and braising. This is a hands-on class with the Catskill Animal Sanctuary’s Compassionate Cuisine Chef Linda Soper-Kolton, where you’ll learn how to prepare a variety of dishes like lo meins, dumplings, and soups that are healthy, well-balanced and of course, vegan. All participants will receive a lesson plan, recipes and resources for creating compassionate dishes at home.
