Nicholas came to CAS two weeks before Christmas 2011. He was found wandering the streets of the Bronx and was brought to a dog and cat rescue in the city. That shelter could not keep him, so we welcomed him to CAS. Nicholas arrived with two NYC slaughterhouse stickers on either side of him; leading us to believe that this little boy somehow escaped. He was just a baby when he arrived; a boy whose life was almost cut very short at the hands of humans.
