Rambo is a Jacob sheep who arrived with 17 animals shortly after CAS opened. Originally violent and unpredictable, Rambo transformed into healer, teacher, friend with a remarkable ability to communicate to his human family when something is amiss at CAS. His rescue, transformation, and life-changing lessons are told in Kathy’s first book, Where the Blind Horse Sings. At his own insistence, Rambo free-ranges around the clock, never traveling far from one of his hay beds. He receives acupuncture for his arthritic knees and impromptu daily massages from willing staff and volunteers.
