Love is love. Giselle and Sabine were rescued by a postal worker who witnessed their crate fall from a truck piled high with hundreds of crates headed from a foie gras farm to a slaughterhouse. Falling off of a truck was the lucky break for these two girls, whose crate mates sadly died on impact. Giselle and Sabine are so deeply bonded that if they are separated even for a moment, they become distressed. Although they prefer to have both feet on the ground or in the water at all times, if they do have to be carried, their preferred method is by the same human, each under one arm, so that they can comfort and quack at each other the entire journey.
