Ducky was rescued by a woman who took her in from her neighbors who had purchased some chickens for meat, but their daughter fell in love with one…Ducky. Once the woman realized that Ducky wasn’t suited to living among roosters and egg-laying hens, she reached out to us to ensure Ducky could have a safer and happier life. When Ducky arrived, she was significantly overweight and missing many feathers. Today, thanks to the care of our team, this gentle sweetheart is thriving and growing healthier every day.
