I am a Class 2 Wildlife Rehabilitator for NYS. I specialized in Rabies Vector Species and I am one of very few that can legally rehab raccoons, skunks, and bats. I have been a wildlife rehabilitator for over 10yrs and have over 12yrs of experience working for a full wildlife hospital on the east end of LI. Although my work and passion is with wildlife, I have dabbled in farm and domestic rescue for over 20yrs. I had the pleasure of boarding geriatric horses on my private farm for some time. I have a soft spot for rescues of horse racing/jumping. Even though I love every animal, I am especially fond of Pigs. I have rescued many pot bellies over the years and personally foster over 6.
