Founder Director Kathy Stevens to Speak at Toronto VegFest
Attention, Canadian vegans, vegetarians, and almost-therians: mark your calendars for September 6th-8th for VegFoodFest in Toronto! Catskill Animal Sanctuary’s Founder/Director Kathy Stevens will be there to speak about “Cows, Cooking and Climate: Expanding Your Impact Through Programs and Partnerships. Lessons and Stories.” Catskill Animal Sanctuary is the world’s first teaching sanctuary and Kathy has been traveling, writing, and educating about animal rights for almost two decades. She is regularly asked to speak about how sanctuaries help people go vegan. In Toronto, she’ll be sharing her insights about how veganism can address the climate crisis we are facing.
