Davey

Davey’s mother, Laverne was rescued from a massive tenant farm & hoarding/neglect situation in Westport, MA with efforts from the ASPCA. Including cats and dogs, 997 animals were seized. Laverne showcased classic signs of neglect, including being very underweight. We later discovered that she and three others from the Westport, MA rescue were pregnant. Laverne gave birth to Davey—who was one of the biggest babies we’ve EVER seen—at Catskill Animal Sanctuary. Now, Davey has taken on a protector role for all the sheep in his flock.
