| Robinhood is a friendly, affectionate rooster who loves saying hello to everyone he meets. He’ll even come running up to the fenceline as soon as he hears his name called! A true gentleman, Robinhood also looks out for his “ladies,” keeping a watchful eye over Moana, a disabled turkey, and Ethel, a geriatric duck. His gentle, sweet presence is an invaluable addition to our Sanctuary! Robinhood loves meeting new friends and is looking for sponsors that will help ensure he continues to thrive here at his home he loves so much. |
Robinhood was rescued in November 2019 by a veterinarian in the animal welfare field after coming from a school hatching project. Like many roosters hatched in classrooms, he was left without a clear future once the project ended, and was set to be “discarded.” Robinhood was lucky that someone instead acknowledged that his life was worth saving! Today, he spends his days surrounded by his friends, a rare and happy ending for a rooster who could have easily been forgotten.
