| Rowdy is the gentle leader of his herd. He’s a very sweet and snuggly horse. Rowdy is always looking out for his fellow horse friends, especially Colette, his longtime “girlfriend.” Rowdy experiences lingering neurological issues due to the neglect he previously experienced, but that has never stopped him from being the sweetest horse. Rowdy was rescued from an animal hoarder in Saratoga, NY, along with 13 other horses in 2011. He arrived severely underweight, with rain rot, bad hooves, and lingering neurological issues that make his legs shaky. With careful treatment, he has gained strength and confidence over the years. Today, Rowdy is the kind caretaker of his herdmates, always watching over his companions and offering a steady, gentle presence.
