Willy is a very outgoing and playful sheep! He isn’t shy about asking for attention, often approaching guests with a friendly, gentle headbutt. Notably, he especially loves small children. We think he enjoys the fact that they’re closer in size to him! Willy stands out as the social butterfly of his herd and thrives on interacting with friends of all species. With his adorable, playful energy, Willy is looking for sponsors who can help him enjoy all the scratches and cuddles he desires.
| Willy was rescued in Fall 2022 from an illegal backyard slaughter operation, where dozens of sheep were found living in severe neglect. Willy was the first sheep to approach our team when we arrived, gently headbutting a caregiver as if to say, “Take me with you!” Willy quickly gained confidence after coming home to CAS and remains the most sociable sheep of his herd. You’d never know that he’d gone through such a hard journey upon meeting him today! |
