How Did Veg Month Go For You?
October was Vegetarian Awareness Month, and at Catskill Animal Sanctuary we celebrated by helping you go veg! Michelle shared her “Top 10 Reasons to Go Veg” and Kathy gave you “30 Reasons and 30 Ways to Go Veg.” We told you about a 12-year-old boy who decided to make the switch, and about four recent rescues who are inspiring people of all ages to think about what they eat. We encouraged you to try our chef’s vegan recipes, read our vegan Q&A, and watch an inspiring video. So, now that it’s the last day of the month, we’re wondering…..how did it go?! We’d love to hear from you in the comments section below! Let us know about a veg recipe that you tried, your reaction to our stories or videos, what compelled you to make the switch, what kind of changes you’ve made to your diet, if you think you’re going to be able to keep up your new diet, and anything else you would like to share. We hope that we’ve given you the resources to start this wonderful journey, and please know that if you ever have a question for us, we’re all ears! BIG high fives to all of you who took a step (or two or twelve) towards a more compassionate diet! We’re SO proud of you!
