Celebrate Summer! Vegan BBQ Recipes

When it’s way too hot to turn on the oven, escape your kitchen and fire up the grill, vegan-style. In this class, Chef Sara will demonstrate her favorite vegan summer recipes that will be perfect for your next picnic or cookout. She’ll show you how to make delicious salsa from scratch, and an assortment of vegetable, grain, and fruit salads that are a snap to put together and a breeze to transport. At the grill, she’ll share her tips for making juicy, flavorful portobello burgers; homemade vegan bratwursts; and since you might be missing your oven, she’ll show you how to change things up with amazing grilled pizza. At the conclusion of class, we’ll sit down together for a full meal, with time to questions and conversation.
You’ll learn how to make: Summer Fruit Salsa; Loaded Potato Salad; Tabbouleh-Inspired Quinoa Salad; Marinated Portobello Burgers; Homemade Vegan Bratwursts; Grilled Margherita Pizza; Tropical Fruit Salad with Toasted Coconut and Mint; Strawberry Limeade. (Recipes may contain gluten, nuts, and soy.)
