Mouthwatering Vegan Pies

Let Chef Sara, a self-described pie aficionado with years of professional baking experience under her belt, show you the tips and tricks to making delicious and gorgeous vegan pies that will wow your family and friends. She’ll show you how to mix and roll the perfect, flaky pie crust, transport it safely from countertop to pie plate, and fill it with one of a variety of homemade fillings. She’ll also demonstrate several classic pie toppings and decorations, including a crumb topping, double crust with leaf cut-outs, and the legendary woven lattice. Each student will have the opportunity to roll, fill, and bake their own Double-Crust Apple Pie, which they can take home at the conclusion of class. So roll up your sleeves, ready your appetite, and come prepared for an evening of great food and fun!

You’ll learn how to make: Flaky Vegan Pie Crust; Double-Crust Apple Pie; Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie with Crumb Topping; Peach Pie with Lattice Crust; Double-Crust Blueberry-Maple Pie; Perfect Pumpkin Pie with Leaf Edging. (Recipes may contain gluten, nuts, and/or soy.)
