Believe it or not, the food we eat affects not only the well-being of animals and the quality of our own health, it impacts our planet as a whole.

Yet, finding information about farmed animals isn’t easy because so many farms make it difficult to find out what really goes on there.

At Catskill Animal Sanctuary, we believe we should know where our food comes from – otherwise, how can we make the right choices?

That’s why we created this handy, fun and informative resource guide, designed just for young people.

Check out the sneaky animal-rights messaging hidden in these popular movies:

  1. Finding Nemo; and Finding Dory — fish are friends, not food!
  2. Chicken Run — can the chickens escape the pie machine before it’s too late?
  3. Babe — the classic story of a very, very clever pig.
  4. The Bee Movie — even the smallest animals deserve our consideration.

We bet you can find more, too. If you do, email us, and we’ll add your movie to the list!
