Maia Boswell-Penc, Ph.D., brings 14 years of experience facilitating Environmental & Social Justice Courses, as well as Interpersonal Development Courses as a Faculty Member of UAlbany’s Women’s Studies Department. She has published a book and several articles in fields including Environmental Studies, Women’s Studies, Public Health & Disability Studies. As a practitioner of yoga & meditation for over 20 years, Maia currently enjoys bringing her experiences to help people create lives that are more deliberate, peaceful & joyful. Her workshops include mini-lectures, discussion, guided meditation, writing & group interaction. They are designed to lead participants into a space where they can let go of limitations & embrace the preciousness of their lives. Maia lives with her husband, two children, one dog and two guinea pigs in Slingerlands, NY.
