Foolsgold Sanctuary Packs the House

On July 23, One Mile Gallery in Kingston NY was a packed house for the FOOLSGOLD SANCTUARY auction to benefit CAS. Over 50 artists displayed their work inspired by the animals of CAS, and dozens braved an intense heat wave to show their support. At the end of the night, $4400 (46% of proceeds) was raised for our farm animal friends – that can buy an entire month’s worth of grain! We are grateful to Janet Hicks of One Mile Gallery, Maria Kozak and Shanan Campanaro of FOOLSGOLD ARTS, and all the artists who shared their talents. Many thanks to Chef Roni Shapiro of Healthy Gourmet to Go, Smuttynose Brewery and Tuthilltown Spirits for the cool cocktails, the local businesses who generously donated prizes to the raffle, and everyone who attended.
