Goodbye, Leo

It seems like any moment we’ll see you on one of your walks, wearing the adorable coats you needed to keep your delicate body warm. Any moment we expect to hear your unique cry that always sounded like a question— “Hey, when can we snuggle?” or “Is dinner coming soon?” We knew from the start that any day could be your last— and we still can’t believe that it came so soon. You were a little fighter; blind, deaf, developmentally delayed, susceptible to so many ailments— but you kept going until it was just too much. We’ll honor your memory through Leo’s Promise— and we’ll think of you every time a high needs animal is helped through this fund.
