Thoughtful investments made by our major donors ensure that all Catskill Animal Sanctuary residents live in a nurturing, safe and loving environment, and that we continue to make room for rescued farmed animals in desperate need of compassion and healing. We believe animals have a right to live their lives free of suffering and exploitation by humans. As the very best way to end animal suffering, improve our health and heal our ailing planet, Catskill Animal Sanctuary advocates veganism and provides support and encouragement to individuals on their journey to align their life practices with the values they hold dearest — mercy, kindness, and compassion.
