Abram
Abram was initially rescued by a man who saved him from a religious sacrifice. Soon after, he purchased a second sheep, Izzy, to keep him company, but the man quickly found himself overwhelmed caring for them — he told us he “hoped they wouldn’t be eaten,” but he was “running out of options.”
Abram was named in honor of Stacey Abrams, whose courage, leadership and strength have inspired all of us. Abram gazes up at new humans with rapt attention, eager to meet, greet, and playfully head-butt.
