Judith & Flora

Judith and Flora came from our largest mammal rescue in our history, when we saved 42 sheep from horrific cruelty and neglect at a nearby slaughter operation in Fall 2022. Judith was among many of the adult sheep who suffered from extreme emaciation, high parasite counts, and hoof rot— in particular, Judith’s was so severe that she spent over a month in the hospital at Cornell while they evaluated and later amputated part of her foot to save her. Thankfully (and miraculously) she has since made a full recovery and is an incredible mother to her daughter Flora, the only lamb who was saved already born at just a few weeks old at the time of rescue.
