Fifteen Abandoned Chickens Find Sanctuary at CAS

Three roosters and twelve hens were abandoned when their family moved to a new house. Luckily, a concerned neighbor took the chickens into his garage where he cared for them until they came to live at Catskill Animal Sanctuary.

The fifteen birds have settled in at CAS and seem to be loving their new home. Thanks to a spacious chicken shelter and large yard, this big family has been able to spread out and enjoy life at the Sanctuary. They will be available for adoption soon!
